The Livingston Parish News 12 Nov 2011
A laborer at the Uniroyal Chemical Plant, Willis “Bud” Payton died at 1:50 
a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, 
Baton Rouge. He was 85, a lifelong resident of Head of Island and a U.S. Army 
veteran. 

Visitation was at Second Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Vicknair Road, 
Maurepas, on Saturday from 9:15 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., 
conducted by Pastor Jermain Brumfield. Interment was in Good Will Cemetery, 
Head of Island. 

Arrangements by Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home, Gonzales.
