PAYTON, CHESTER LEE “BLADE” JR

Chester Lee “Blade” Payton Jr., 60 of Head of Island died at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday,
March 23, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. 
He was a self employed auto painter.

Visitation was held at St. Paul Baptist Church in Maurepas on Saturday, March
27, 2010 from 10 a.m. until religious services at noon conducted by Rev Levan
Jackson with interment in Good Will Cemetery in Head of Island.

His wife, two daughters, a son, five sisters, seven brothers, five grandchildren
and a great-grandchild survive him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son and a nephew.

Lawson-Rollins Purple Sheild Funeral Home of Gonzales handled arrangements.
