He was a retired carpenter and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Denham Springs. Visitation and services were held at Seale Funeral Home of Denham Springs with interment in Beech Ridge Cemetery in Denham Springs. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; two sons and a daughter-in-law; three sisters; 11 great grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law. His parents, Monroe and Sarah Truax Perkins; his first wife, Lucille Addie Street Perkins; his second wife, Eva Cotton Perkins; a daughter, Dottie Ross; a brother, Alton Perkins; and a sister, Edna Berry, preceded him in death.
