She was born Oct 21, 1923 in Moggio Udinese, Italy and had been a resident of Hungarian Settlement since 1947. She was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Albany, a charter member of the Tucker A. Gregoire American Legion Auxiliary Unit 258 in Springfield, a member of La BOUTIQUE DES HUT CHAPEAUX ET QUARANTE FEMMES OF THE 80 AND 40 Salon 114 and the Hungarian Settlement Historical Society. Visitation was held at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Baptist. With interment in St. Margaret’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Albany. She is survived by two daughters, a son and daughter-in-law; a brother of Austria; two sisters-in-law; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and their spouses; 10 great-grandchildren; 14 step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband Alexander J. Petho; her parents, Silvio and Angelina Tolassi Franz; a sister, Irene Sossi; and sons-in-law, Edward Johnson and James Daniel Roberson.
