He was enlisted in the US Army Reserve for six years. He lived his day-to-day life walking closely with God. He will be forever missed and loved by all who knew him. Visitation was held on Thursday Jan 22, 2009 at French Settlement First Baptist Church and resumed on Friday until the funeral service with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in French Settlement. His wife, six children, 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and an extended church family survive him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Duplessis and Emerie Picard. The.
