He was a native of Bear Island and a retired boilermaker. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Bear Island and loved hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with his friends. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 and resumed on Wednesday June 17, 2009 until religious services with interment in Maurepas Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, his mother, three daughters and sons-in-law, the mother of his children, three sisters, nine grandchildren, two nieces, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Patrick Pinion; a brother, Nelson Pinion; and a sister, Beatrice Funk.
