POWERS, BETTY T. SLAGLE

Betty T. Slagle Powers 103 a resident of St. James Place in Baton Rouge died
Sunday, March 14, 2010.  She was born Oct 7, 1906 in Bradshaw NB.  She married
Roy M. Powers in August KS in 1928 and upon his retirement they moved to Denham
Springs where the lived 10 years before moving to St. James Place in Baton Rouge
where she had lived for the past 27 years.  She was a longtime member of First
Baptist Church of Denham Springs.

A private service was held at St. James Place in Baton Rouge.

A son, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren survive her.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy M. Powers; and a son, Donald R. Powers.
