Mike Anderson officiating. Mrs. Quin died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was born Feb. 19, 1924, in Baton Rouge, daughter of Walter R. and Edna Marie Lugenbeil Zammit, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Nolan Quin; daughter, Barbara S. Magee; and three brothers, Walter, Elliot and Thomas Zammit. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star, and a member of Dinan Baptist Church. She was a very loving person who loved her family and was a true Christian. She and Mr. Cecil were faithful supporters of the Masonic Children’s Home, not only visiting the children at the home, but also bringing them to their home to visit. Her sons and others will always remember that Mrs. Quin “sure could cook a good Sunday dinner!” Mrs. Quin is survived by two sons, a brother, Jotwo sisters, 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
