RICARD, ASILEE J. “Lee” “Auntie”

Mrs. Asilee J. Ricard of Saginaw Mich., died Tuesday, Dec 1, 2009 in 
Deerford.  She was a former resident of Baton Rouge where she had served as 
head chef at West Livingston High School until she relocated to Saginaw.  She 
retired from the Saginaw Public School District in 1990 after 20 years of 
service.  She started her Christian life at Roberts United Methodist Church in 
Denham Springs and continued her Christian fellowship at Bethel AME Church in 
Saginaw.

Visitation and viewing with a Homegoing service was held at Roberts United 
Methodist Church in Denham Springs on Friday, Dec 11, 2009 with a dismissal 
service on Saturday, Dec 12, 2009 followed by interment in Plainview Cemetery.

A sister, two grandsons, a great-grandson, a special niece and a host of other 
nieces, nephews and other relatives survive her.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Edward M. Ricard; a daughter, Laverne 
Scott; five brothers and four sisters.
