RICHARD, SHIRLENE COMEAUX 

Shirlene Comeaux Richard 68 of Walker died Tuesday, April 28, 2009.  She was a 
retired city-parish employee in Baton Rouge and a native of Lawtell.

Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Thursday, Apr 
30, 2009 and resumed on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic 
Church in Denham Springs until the funeral service with interment in Greenoaks 
Memorial Park.

Her two sons and daughters-in-law, a daughter, a sister and brother-in-law, 
three brothers and two sisters-in-law, and six grandchildren survive her.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years, Leonce Richard; a son, 
Darren Richard; her parents, Evan and Bernice Babineaux Comeaux; and a sister 
and brother-in-law, Velma and Houston Richard.

The family would like to thank Hospice In His Care, especially Shirlene's 
nurse, Alicia, and her Dr. and his staff at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center 
for their loving care. A special goes thanks to all the family and friends for 
their support and prayers.
