ROBERTSON, HOUSTON JAMES

Houston James Robertson 74 died 10:25 pm Tuesday Jan 12, 2010 at Ochsner 
Medical Center of Baton Rouge.  He was born Sept 13, 1925 in Holden and was 
retired from the Louisiana Department of Corrections on Jan 3, 1995.  He also 
worked for the Baton Rouge Police Department from 1950 to 1959.  He was a 
veteran of the US Navy and US Air Force.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on 
Sunday from noon until services at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. 
Interment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Five sons, five daughters and two sons-in-law, a brother, 15 grandchildren, 
and 19 great-grandchildren survive him.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Gladys W. Robertson; his parents, John 
and Martha Shelton Robertson; and three brothers, Rommy Robertson, Homer 
Robertson, and Ralph Robertson, and two sisters, Margie Daigre, and Libby 
Higginbotham.
