Robin 67 of Denham Springs died Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was a native of Opelousas and had resided in Denham Springs for the past 12 years. He was the retired owner of Chez When Tavern, Rak-it-Bak and Cozy Corner. Visitation was held at Lockhart Baptist Church in Denham Springs on Friday until the memorial service with interment in Roselawn Cemetery in Baton Rouge. His six children, two daughters-in-law, three sons-in-law, two brothers and sisters-in-law, three sisters and a brother-in-law, 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren survive him. Preceding him in death was his beautiful wife, Gail Robin; his father, Clemile Robin; his mother, Laurence Robin; and a brother, Raymond Dupuis. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
