DIED: June 22, 2014
LOCATION: Walker, Louisiana





Dorothy Galloway Robinson went home to be with the Lord at 12:25 AM Sunday, 
June 22. 2014 at The Crossing in Baton Rouge at the age of 88.  She was a 
native of Doyle and resident of Walker and was a retired Livingston Parish 
School Board employee.

 Visitation will be held at Shady Bower Pentecostal Church in Walker on 
Monday, June 23, 2014 from 6:00 PM until the religious services at 11:00 AM 
Tuesday, June 24, 2014 conducted by Rev. Joey Myers and Rev. Herman Bounds. 
Burial will be at Vicker's Cemetery in Walker.

 Survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Reda Williams, Gayle and Charles 
Williams and Gelean and Jim Wicks; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Rev. Calvin 
Robinson and Elvin and Georgie Robinson; sister, Iris Tannehill; numerous 
grandchildren.

 Preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charlie L. Robinson; parents, 
Sylvester and I.D. McDonald Galloway; 3 children, Dorothy Muriel Robinson, 
Odessia Warren and Melvin Robinson; grandchild, Heather Williams.
 She was a charter member of Shady Bower Pentecostal Church in Walker. Special 
thanks to Oschner Medical Center and The Crossing.
