The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board employed her for 33 years where she worked as an executive secretary. She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1944 and attended LSU for three years. She was a member of Grace Family Church. Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge with interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother, a niece, two nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, E. Harvey and Donice Holmes Curtin; and a sister, Mabel “Poochie” Curtin.
