SALASSI, ODELIA MARTIN “MAW MAW DEE”

Odelia Martin “Maw Maw Dee” Salassi, 83 died Sept 29, 2009 at her residence in 
Livingston.  She was a native of Frost and a life long member of Pine Grove 
Baptist Church and a retired Livingston Parish Librarian.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Thursday, Oct 1, 
2009 and continuing on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at Pine Grove Baptist Church in 
Bayou Barbary with religious services at 1 PM with interment in Pine Grove 
Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving her are her two daughters and sons-in-law; three sons and daughters-
in-law; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Elliot Reed Salassi, Sr.; her 
parents, Louis and Julia McNabb Martin; a grandson, Quinlen Willie; four 
sisters, Myrtis DeArmond, Luvellia Evans, Iola Gordon, and Odess Willie, and a 
brother, Jake Martin.
