SALPIETRA, BENJAMIN JOHN SR.

Benjamin John Salpietra, Sr., 83 of Walker died Sunday Sept 13, 2009 in Baton 
Rouge.  He was a retired carpenter with the Louisiana Department f 
Transportation and Development.  He was a native of Magnolia, MS and a 
resident of Walker.

Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, Baton Rouge on Tuesday, Sept 
15, 2009 with entombment at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum.

He is survived by three daughters, four sons and daughters-in-law, two 
sisters, two brothers and sister-in-law, 20 grandchildren, and 15 great-
grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife Mary Columbus Salpietra; parents, Mr. And 
Mrs. John T. Salpietra Sr.; two children, Johnny Salpietra and 
Sebastiana “Bootsy” Salpietra; three sisters; and a brother.
