Our hearts were completely broken as you fought so hard to stay. We know you had to leave us, but you did not go alone, because part of us went with you the day God called you home…” Wayne Lee Sanders 59 of Denham Springs died at 4:27 pm Wednesday, Feb 17, 2010 at Ollie Steele Burden Manor in Baton Rouge. He was a native of Baton Rouge. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, Feb 19, 2010 and resumed on Saturday, Feb 20, 2010 from 9 am until the religious services at 2 pm with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. His wife of 35 years, a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, two sisters and brothers-in-law, two grandchildren, his mother-in-law, and his two dogs, Baby and Buck, survives him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and Hattie Hoyt Sanders; and fathers-in-law, Robert D. McLin and Alton Angelle.
