He was an avid LSU and Saints fan. He loved being outdoors with his best friends and his dog, Sassy. He also loved fishing, hunting and gardening. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Wednesday and will continue on Thursday from 9 a.m. until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Carl Rushing. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his mother, of Denham Springs; a sister and brother-in-law, brother and sister-in-law, three nieces, three nephews, his best friends, Henry Pipps and wife Gwen, Greg Chelette and Jay Brohn; as well as numerous other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Major B. Sartin Jr.; brother, Alan Jay Sartin; grandparents, Major B. Sr. and Edith Gilmore Sartin and Charles and Lula Rae Davis Cressionnie; and uncle, Gerald Lee Sartin.
