SCHEXNAYDER, ALBERT JOHN JR

Albert John Schexnayder Jr., 88 of Central died Monday, Dec 7, 2009.  He was a 
native of Pointe Coupee and a veteran of the US Marine Corps having served in 
World War II serving with the rank of Sergeant.  He was retired from Allied 
Chemical in Baton Rouge.  He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 
Council 3331 and a longtime parishioner of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in 
Greenwell Springs.

Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home with interment in Greenoaks 
Memorial Park.

He is survived by his five daughters and four sons-in-law, a son and daughter-
in-law, two brothers, 17 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren,.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Netta Wilson Schexnayder; a daughter, 
Courtney S. Rose; a son, Charles William “Willie” Schexnayder; five sisters 
and three brothers.
