SCOTT, EUGENE JR

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I 
have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 
Timothy 4:6-7

Eugene Scott Jr., 90 died Saturday June 6, 2009 at his home in Greenwell 
Springs.  He was a native of Denham Springs and was a retired employee of 
Standard Oil Co. with 52 years of service.  He was a US Navy veteran of World 
War II.

Visitation was held at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Greenwell Springs 
on Saturday June 13, 2009 from 9 am until religious services at  11 am with 
interment in St. Luke United Methodist Church Cemetery.

His wife of 69 years, a son and daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, 19 great-
grandchildren, a brother, a sister, two brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, 
and a host of other relatives and dear friends survive him
