David Scott Sr. 
 
A resident of Denham Springs, David Lee Scott Sr. departed this life on 
Monday, March 21, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He 
was 73 and a retired truck driver from Smith Building Supply with 40 years of 
service. 

Visitation will be held at Abundant Life Church, 206 Edgewood St., Denham 
Springs, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 28. A religious service will 
be held at the church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, conducted by Pastor Richard 
Beatty. Interment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, three daughters and two sons-
in-law, four sons and a daughter-in-law, grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 
nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham 
Springs.
