SHAFFETT, JOSEPH SHANNON ‘FATBOY”

Joseph Shannon “Fat boy” Shaffett died Friday, March 12, 2010 at his home in
French Settlement.  “Fat boy” was known as an entertainer from the time he was a
small boy.  This carried on into his adult life when he made his living as a
musician.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Wedneaday, March 17,
2010 and resumed on Thursday, March 18, 2010 until the service at 11 a.m. with
interment in Colyell Community Cemetery.

He is survived by a son, uncles and aunts and countless nieces and nephews
across the country..

Preceding him in death was a son, Reese Shaffett; and his parents, Morris and
Carolyn Wheat Shaffett.
