SMITH, DR. JIMMY BRUCE SR

Dr. Jimmy Bruce Smith Sr. 74 died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at his home in Denham 
Springs.  He was a native of Rockdale, TX and was a retired veterinarian and 
was the owner of Dodge City Veterinary Hospital and Dodge City Farm Supply.  
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of First Christian Church of 
Rockdale, the AVMA, LVMA, BRAVMA, and Brazon Union Lodge 129.

Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday, May 
23, 2009 from 1 pm until the service at 2 pm with entombment in Evergreen 
Memorial Park.

His wife, three daughters and two sons-in-law, two sons and daughters-in-law, 
two sisters and brothers-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law, and 13 
grandchildren survive him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Shelby Nathan Smith and Evelyn 
Cornelia Dymke Smith

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the 
American Cancer Society,
