The Livingston Parish News - 3 Feb 2011
Amelie White Stalions, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Springfield, 
passed away Friday, July 28, 2006, at Sherwood Manor. She was 94. 

Visitation was at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Sunday and at 
the funeral home chapel Monday until religious services. Interment was in 
Greenoaks Memorial Park. 

She is survived by a sister, Virginia White Sziszak and husband Alex; sister-
in-law, Gloria White; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Stalions; parents, Thomas and 
Winnifred White; two sisters, Winnie Mae White and Edna Anderson; and four 
brothers, Beale, Norwood, Gayle and Travis White. 

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in downtown Baton Rouge
