STARKEY, ERA P. “MAW-MAW”

Era P. “Maw-Maw” Starkey, 88 of Pumpkin Center died Sept 18, 2009 at Heritage 
Manor Nursing Home.  She was a life time member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Funeral Services were held at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Pumpkin Center on Sept 
21, 2009 with interment in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 25 
great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters, one of 
which was a twin.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ehlert “Hooks” Starkey; a daughter, 
Mevil Carrier; a grandson, Paul Coates; a granddaughter, Victoria Covington; a 
great-granddaughter, Shelly Carrier; and a brother, Octavia Page.

Arrangements entrusted to Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Hammond.
