He was a native of Plaquemine. Mr. Stevens retired from Exxon in 1976 as a process step-up supervisor. Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Jan 4, 2010 with a rosary and resumed on Monday Jan 5, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church until a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Park. Four sons and daughters-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, his former spouse, a long time lady friend, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, a brother and sister-in-law, and a sister survive him.
