STEWART, JOANN

Joann Stewart, 72, of Denham Springs, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Ochsner 
Medical Center-Baton Rouge after battling congestive heart failure for the 
past few years.. She was a unique person and she spoke her mind in private or 
in public.  She preferred to live alone and enjoyed her space.  She loved her 
children and grandchildren to visit but was also elated when the left.  She 
will be missed by her favorite cat, Charlie.

Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday until 
service. 

Two daughters and two sons, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren 
survive her.

Her husband, Mannie Alsbie Stewart, preceded her in death
