STRICKLAND, JOHN LEVERETTE JR

John Leverette Strickland Jr., 72, of Denham Springs, passed away Thursday,
April 15, 2010, at his home. He served and defended our country in the U.S. Navy
during the Korean War.

Service was at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church, Denham Springs, Saturday, officiated
by the Rev. Carl Sullivan and the Rev. Charles Bigner. Burial was in Felder
Cemetery.

 His wife, a daughter, a son, a brother, five grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren survive him.
