SZISZAK, MARY VIRGINIA “HIX” WHITE

Mary Virginia “Hix” White Szaszak 85 of Baton Rouge died Oct 23, 2009 at Our 
Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.  She was a native of 
Springfield.  

Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Denham Springs until 
religious services in the funeral home chapel.  Interment was in Greenoaks 
Memorial Park.

Her husband of 61 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, four grandchildren, 
and three great-grandchildren survives her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Winnifred White; three 
sisters, Amelie Stalions, Winnie Mae White, and Edna Anderson; and four 
brothers, Beale, Norwood, Gayle and Travis White
