He was born April 12, 1974 in Bellevue, NB and served in the US Navy. He was a Merchant Marine working on cargo ships in Africa, the Netherlands, and several other countries. He returned to the Bogalusa area where he spent time most of his life. He enjoyed the solitude of the woods and fishing. He also enjoyed reading, mostly westerns, and watching movies. He liked to help people and volunteered his time cutting trees for free after hurricane Katrina and Gustav. Brian had many talents, and was very intelligent. Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Saturday and at the funeral home chapel on Sunday until the funeral service with entombment in Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Bogalusa. His mother, with whom he lived with the last two years in Baton Rouge; his only child, sister and brother-in-law, nephews and nieces, two uncles and their wives, and numerous cousins in Washington Parish, survives him. He will be greatly missed. His father, John Victor Talley; paternal grandparents, Tim and Mildred Talley, who were of the Rio Isabel area; and his maternal grandparents, Elmo L. and Lora Lang Revere, who were of Bogalusa, preceded him in death.
