She was a native of Bogalusa and an employee of Keans Cleaner. She was a devout catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday Jan 24, 2010 and resumed on Monday Jan 25, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs until Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. A daughter and son-in-law, two sons and a daughter-in-law, six grandchildren and their spouses, 14 great-grandchildren, and constant companion and sidekick B-B survive her. Preceding her in death was her husband, Walter H. Tamplet Sr.; her parents, Wallace Burdette Sr., and Alma Anderson; a brother, Wallace Burdette Jr.; and a great-grandson, Logan Tamplet.
