Florence Elizabeth Walker Terrell was a beautiful, humble soul, a prayer warrior and a “Sweet Pea” to all who knew her. She was called to the gentle arms of the God she served for more than 60 years on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. She was a resident of Denham Springs and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Irl Walker and Edna Mae Ammulung Walker, who were of New York City; and her husband, the Rev. Ivy W. Terrell. She is survived by two sons and spouses, two daughters and spouses, two daughters, an honorary daughter, grandson, four granddaughters, two great- grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting was at First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs on Sunday. Visitation resumed at the church on Monday until funeral services, conducted by the Rev. W.R. Johnson. Interment was in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
