John Ray “Paw Paw John” Thomas 69 died Wednesday Jan 21, 2009 at his home in Denham Springs. He was a native of Tylertown MS and was a retired member of Insulators Local 53. He was a member of Walker Baptist Church and received an honorable discharge from the US Army and drove for Premier Hotshot. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday and resumed at the funeral home chapel on Saturday from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. Burial was in Walker Baptist Church Cemetery, Walker. A daughter and her fiancé, 12 grandchildren, his mother, two brothers and sisters-in-law, a very special friend, and former wife and her husband survive him. His father, George Thomas; a grandson, Christopher Young; and a son-in-law, Daryl Young, preceded him in death. All who knew him will sadly miss him. Until we meet again.
