Linda Verrett 

God called, “Come home my precious child,” at 11:26 a.m. Friday, April 1, 
2011. A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Denham Springs, 

Linda Marie Verrett is survived by a son, a daughter, granddaughter, three 
sisters, and four brothers. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar A. Jr. and Hildred Roussel 
Verrett. She was a hard-working mother, sister and friend whose focus was 
always about family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. 

Visitation was at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday until religious 
services with a reception to follow the burial at Greenoaks Life Celebration 
Center.. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in her name to the 
American Cancer Society.
