He was the owner and operator of Double D rodeo Co. and hosted many rodeos in the tri-state area of LA, MS and AL. For 17 years of his life he was devoted to helping young men train and prepare for the sport of bull riding. This cowboy also spent many happy hours working on his backhoe. Dickie is survived by his wife Terry; 5 children; 13 grand children and 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lela and Ruby; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Hatty (Morgan) Wagner; and a brother Vernon Wagner. Arrangements were handled by Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home. The wake was observed on Thursday May 1, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and on Friday May 2 from 9:00 Am until Funeral Services. The funeral service was conducted by Rev Jimmy Bailey and interment was in Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
