WALKER, EDITH MAE JONES “GRANNY”

Edith Mae Jones “Granny” Walker, 101 of Zachary died 8 am Sunday, Sept 13, 
2009 at her residence.  She was born Dec 31 1907.

Visitation was at Resthaven Funeral Home, Baton Rouge with entombment in 
Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.

She is survived by seven daughters and six sons-in-law; a son and daughter-in-
law; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-
grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry H. Walker; parents, William 
Samuel and Lula G. Jones; a brother, Ernest Phillip Jones; daughter and son-in-
law, Juanita and Darrell Emerson; a son, Billy E. Walker; granddaughter, 
Gloria L. Yammarino; and great-granddaughter, Ariel L. Seymour.
