WATTS, NORMANEDGAR JR.

Norman Edgar Watts Jr., 52 of Holden died Monday, Oct 5, 2009 in Hammond.  He 
was a native of Independence, LA and a longtime resident of Ponchatoula.

Visitation was at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Thursday, Oct 8, 2009 
from 6 PM until 9 PM and on Friday Oct 9, 2009 from 8 AM until the funeral 
service at 10 AM with interment in Parklawn Cemetery.  He was an award winning 
taxidermist on the state, national and world levels.  He was an avid primitive 
weapons hunter.  He also loved the  outdoors and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, a daughter and son-in-law, his mother, and 
a brother and sister-in-law.

Preceding him in death was his father Norman “Pete” Watts, St.; his paternal 
grandparents, Mary Clayton Watts and James Watts; maternal grandparents, 
Forrest Lee Bourn and Leona Rachel Fillingame Bourn; and several other close 
relatives.
