WATTS, LUCILLE M. EDWARDS

Lucille M. Edwards Watts, 89 of Colyell died 1 am Thursday, Oct 8, 2009 at 
Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs.  She was a retired employee of 
Hammond State School in Albany and a native of Colyell.  She was a lifelong 
member of Colyell Baptist Church.

Visitation was held at Colyell Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct 10, 2009 from 9 
am until religious services at 11 am conducted by the Rev Paul Taylor and Rev. 
Bill Holifield.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, two sisters and a brother-in-
law, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-
grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leland Watts Sr.; a son, Leland 
Watts, Jr.; two sisters, Ruth Taylor and Ella Dee Martin; two brothers, Cecil 
and Allen “Butcher” Edwards; and her parents, Eddie and Enos Edwards
