WELCH, HAZEL LAGROUE

Hazel LaGroue Welch 97 died Friday morning, Feb 26, 2010 at her home in Denham 
Springs.  She was a native of Pine Grove and was a retired nurse.

Visitation was held at Northside Baptist Church in Denham Springs on Saturday, 
Feb 27, 2010 and resumed on Sunday, Feb 28, 2010 at Pine Grove Baptist Church 
in Pine Grove until religious services with interment in Pleasant Hill Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

A daughter, a son, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and 
great-great-grandchildren survive her.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Oscar G. Welch Sr.; a daughter, Janice 
W. Thompson; a sister, Annie L. O’Bannon; and two brothers, Robert LaGroue and 
Albert LaGroue.
