White, Edwin D. “D-boy”

Edwin D. “D-boy” White died July 9, 2009 at the age of 90.  He was a retired 
pipe fitter from Ethyl Corp and a resident of Maurepas.

He was a US Army Air Force Veteran of World War II, and a native of 
Prairieville.

Visitation was at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, internment was in Whitehall 
Community Cemetery.

He is survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and four great-
great-grandchildren.

His wife Nita Vicknair White; his parents, Frank and Winnie Marchand White; 
and a daughter Nita Marie Dietrich preceded him in death

He was a member of the Gum Swamp Hunting Club and the American Legion.
