WILLIAMS, RUTH MOORE

Ruth Moore Williams 69 of Baton Rouge died Sunday Nov 8, 2009.  She was born 
Feb 22, 1940 in Woodlawn, TN and had lived in Baton Rouge for more than 30 
years.  She earned her B.S. from Austin Peay State University.  She last 
taught at Pine Ridge Alternative School in Walker.  She had previously taught 
in the Department of Defense in Korea and Germany, and on Midway Island.  She 
was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Ladies of Bal Masque and 
various bridge groups.  

Her husband of 33 years, a daughter and son-in-law, a sister, and two brothers 
survives her.

Preceding her in death was an older brother, Wilton Franklin Moore who was of 
Clarksville, TN
