September 7, 2007 Leona A. Rhynehart Snyder, 86, of 355 Mildred Avenue, Syracuse, died Friday at
Francis House,
Syracuse, following a lengthy illness.  She had worked for precision Castings in Fayetteville for 32
years, retiring in 1983.
Leona was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Janet Snyder, and by a granddaughter, Seleana Gamble.
Survivors:
one son and daughter-in-law, Harold "Chief" and Patricia Snyder of Caballo, NM; three grandchildren,
Mary
Janet Cabrera of Rome and Mona Volgares  and Joseph Gamble, both of Ohio; four great-grandchildren,
Nicholas Burke, Vivian Gamble, Tesla Volgares and Jeremiah Volgares;as well as many nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., Canastota.
Burial:
Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota.  Calling hours: 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 201 James
St,
