Williams - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 6, 2006 Beatrice R. Williams was born to the proud parents of Johnnie Richardson and Annie Richardson, April 18, 1922 in Benton, Louisiana. A native of Shreveport, and a resident of Tallulah for the past 58 years, she departed this life on June 22, 2006 after a brief illness. She was a loving and devoted mother, one who always cherishes her children and their children. She confessed Christ in 1952 under the leadership of the Reverend Alfred Israel at the Mount Celler Baptist Church. She served as a member of the Usher Ministry for over 42 years until her death. Her favorite scripture was the 23 Psalm. Her favorite spiritual song was "Father I Stretch My Hand to Thee". She was preceded in death by her daughter Georgia Williams, her mother and father Johnnie and Annie Richardson, three brothers, Andrew, Samuel, and Mose Richardson; one sister, Annie Mae Jenkins; one grandson Moses T. Jackson and great grandson Isiah D. Pickney She is survived by daughters: Mary W. Rogers (Las Vegas, NV) - {Dr. Sylvester}--{Edmonia} Bennie Mae Williams (Las Vegas, NV); sons: Moses Jackson (St. Martinsville, LA) - Leon Richardson (Las Vegas, NV) Stanley R. Jackson (Fort Worth, TX) Sandis G. Williams Edmond, OK) - {Caroline} Wayne M. Williams (Tallulah, LA) Michael S. Williams Las Cruces, NM) - {Edwanda}. She cherished 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren touching them with her grace and loving each and everyone with her wisdom. Also sharing and cherishing her memories are sisters: Anner Payton (El Dorado, AR) Rosezeny Richardson (San Francisco, CA); and brothers: Johnnie Richardson Shreveport, LA) Leon Richardson (Shreveport, LA) - {Betty} A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will forever her memories.
