Wilson died Jan. 5, 1997 at University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. He was age 72. Mr. Wilson was born in Bonita and had lived in Madison Parish for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving the Army. He was a farmer and former deputy sheriff of Madison Parish. He served as an outfitter in Colorado for six years. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, James H. Wilson Tallulah. He is survived by three daughters: Linda Sue Stridham of Newton, N.C.; Traci Clark of Natchez, Miss. and Dana Taulbee of Grand Junction, Colo. and seven grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, La.
