Sevier. The ceremony was beautifully and impressively said by Rev. V. D. Skipper, when Mr. Benjamin Perry Folk and Miss Lucy Sevier plighted their troth in the morning of last Wednesday at 7:30 o'clock. The bride was married in a travelling suit and a white hat. The groom is from Raleigh, N. C., while the bride is one of the charming young ladies of this parish and is held in great admiration and esteem by many friends and relatives in Tallulah and the adjoining neighborhood. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Robert Lee Ammons. Miss Lina Allen sang ''Because I Love You." Dean Allen was the ring bearer. The ceremony was said beneath two beautiful hand painted hearts, chained together and locked with Sevier painted in gold on one and Folk painted in gold on the other. The bridal couple departed on the early train for Ruston, La., but returned to Tallulah yesterday, whence they departed for Raleigh, N. C., their future home. http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/madison/vitals/marriages/folksevier.txt
