Walter Wren, 82, of Bastrop will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Christ Church Cemetery with the Rev. William Fowler officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Wren, a retired paint and bodyman with the Casey Marus and Charles Wright body shops, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Wren is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Charles and Cynthia Mae Wren. He is survived by his wife, Frances H. Wren; two daughters, Patricia Calcote and husband Gary of Napa, Calif., and Ruby Francis and husband John of Livermore, Calif.; son, Charles Wayne Wren and wife Bea of Memphis, Tenn.; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
