Before each notice is a notation indicating the date, page number, and column number where the article can be found. The Clarion was a weekly publication consisting of four pages, and each page had six columns. So a notation that appears thus, "1/2/1880 P2 C6", indicates the notice was seen in the January 2nd issue in column 6 of page 2. ********************************************** Copyright. Leucht, of New Orleans, Dan Hiller, of Canton, Miss., and Miss Julia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Levy, of Bastrop, La. 4/15/1881 P2 C4 Married.--At the residence of the bride's mother in Bastrop on the evening of April 13th, 1881, Dr. I. J. Newton, of Hamburg, Ark., to Miss Lucie Ross, Rev. T. S. Randle officiating. 9/9/1881 P3 C1 Married.--At Monroe, La., on Wednesday, August 17th, 1881 by Rev. T. Y. Allison, Mr. A. McCracken of Morehouse parish, to Miss Mollie Hoffman, daughter of the late Capt. John Hoffman of New Orleans. 9/23/1881 P3 C2 K. D. Moore, who has seen only sixty-five autumns come and go, was joined in blissful wedlock to Mrs. Marsh, whose blushing cheeks had been kissed by fifty or more September winds.
