Cal Adams and the Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home. Mrs. Gardner passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008. She was a homemaker and a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gardner; and parents, John and Lessie Thomas. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Dement and husband Royce of Marion, La., and Alice Arnaud of Bastrop; son, Steve Harbour and wife Donna of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Viola Rogers of Converse, La. and Mary Lois Womack of Mansfield, La.; two brothers, Dan Thomas and Johnny Thomas, both of Converse; five grandchildren, Tracey Dement, Jason Dement, Jimmy Arnaud II, Sarah Harbour, and T.J. Dement; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jackie Owens, Ralph Downs, and Bertie Taylor. Servings as pallbearers will be Lance Thomas, Jamey Thomas, Eli Thomas, Chuck Thomas, Bradley Thomas and Lee Brantley. Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Thomas and Tyler Thomas.
