Golden Funeral Home - October 2022
FLOYD ADAMS


Funeral services for Floyd Adams are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday, October 18, 
2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. David Mixon officiating. 
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 
Tuesday, prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM.

Mr. Adams, a resident of Union Parish, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, 
at the age of seventy-two. He retired from the International Paper Company and 
was a member of the First Apostolic Church of West Monroe. Mr. Adams enjoyed 
hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved 
visiting with his neighbors and friends, and being with his furbabies.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Karen Adams of Monroe, LA; daughter, April 
Mullins of Katy, TX; sons, Daniel Adams of Shreveport, LA, and Timothy Adams of 
Oak Grove, LA; sister, Patricia Ricks of West Monroe, LA; brother, Rodney Adams 
of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Zach Sanderson, Blake Adams, Halea Adams, 
Arabella Gregor, Elijah Jacob; and great-granddaughter, Lazuli Sanderson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Adams; mother, Jonnie Adams; 
daughter, Tina Denise Adams; and brothers, Rusty Adams and Gerald Adams.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodeny Adams, Wade Yates, Gary Kinney, Tency 
Barton, Danny Barton, and Eddie Ricks.
