Aaron Christopher Akers 

Funeral services for Aaron Christopher Akers, age 12, are scheduled for 10 
a.m. Monday April 3, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff 
May and Rev. Ron Vollmar officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park 
Cemetery. Aaron, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday April 1, 2006. 
He is survived by his father, Tommy Akers of Bastrop; mother, Allison Crumley 
Woods & husband Michael of Bastrop; maternal grandparents, John & Mary Crumley 
of Bastrop; paternal grandparents, Heidi Hughes of Sterlington, Fred Akers of 
Mer Rouge; grandparents, H.L. and Betty Woods of West Monroe; great 
grandmother, Ruth Outlaw of Bastrop; sister, Julianna Akers of Bastrop; 
brother, Jon Thomas Akers of Bastrop; step-sister, Krystal Woods of Monroe; 
uncles, Tim Crumley of Houston, TX, George Akers of Montgomery, AL, Stefane 
Akers of Brenham, Texas. 

Pallbearers will be Stephen Woods, Richie Smith, Barry Joiner and Doug Hughes. 
Honorary pallbearers are Joe D. Guerrio and John Walker. 

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 
Golden Funeral Home. 

Aaron's family wishes to express a special thank you to all of the Doctors, 
Nurses and Sitters who have cared for Aaron over the past twelve years.
